Matthew Timberlake is a technologist and an evangelist for digital equity and inclusion. His work as a technologist has been featured in national publications in both the US and UK. Matthew has played a key role in developing nationally-recognized digital inclusion programs and is a frequent speaker on digital equity. Internationally, he worked to evaluate how people solve problems with technology under the OECD’s PIAAC programme.
As a technologist, Matthew helps enterprises change how they use technology. He has led technology programs with budgets up to $34M, and has been a founder or early member of several startups, including one that developed into a leading software company with a multi-billion dollar valuation. He is passionately interested in new technology ventures that move us toward social justice, particularly digital equity and inclusion, net neutrality, and new approaches to education. He has a BA and MA from King’s College London.
