Andrea Goforth

Professor Goforth is an inorganic chemist, who specializes in materials science and nanomaterials. She also manages the PSU Center for Electron Microscopy & Nanofabrication, and works with a variety of local companies to analyze the products of advanced manufacturing. And she is the Principle Investigator of an internship program, "Diverse Internships for Semiconductor Careers (DISC)". In concert with these activities, she enjoys providing experiential learning opportunities to students of all ages to showcase current science and inspire student interest in pursuing careers in science.
