CETI is delighted and honored to announce that we have been awarded an FY27 Cultural Development grant of $30,000 from the Oregon Cultural Trust.
This award will go to support the creation of The Power of Place: Stories of Old Town Chinatown, a multimedia augmented storytelling series of immersive, interactive, wondrous vignettes, multisensory experiences and augmented extended reality tours in situ remembering the past and imagining the future of Old Town Chinatown. This project is part of CETI’s ongoing program, Emerging Media Creation for Cultural Preservation and (Hi)Storytelling, to use emerging media tools to help community and cultural organizations—including museums, archives, special collections and libraries—digitally preserve and share cultural heritage.
