“Technicolor Soft Serve” is an extremely drippy and gloopy abstract digital painting. The artwork animates with a vertical swipe gesture, mimicking the seductive infinite scroll design that’s so ubiquitous on social media platforms (designed to keep us consuming content and coming back for more). New colors and forms are revealed with every additional swipe.

Jeremy Rotsztain (b. 1977 in Toronto, Canada) is an artist and software programmer working with computer graphics to explore new modes of abstraction—across video installations, virtual reality worlds, mobile phone applications, and digital prints.
